Here I go, off to Phoenix. Perhaps a full report when I return. Meanwhile, a small rant: Why do large corporations (such as Corn Products Corporation) protect their tax expenditures so vigilantly as to result in the loss of millions of dollars to local school districts? They may be correct, in the business sense, but aren't they also decimating the potential of the local workforce in taking such actions? There are hidden costs to everything, I suppose. And what are the schools to do? Protesting, or perhaps demanding boycotts, just hurts the local economy. It's a lose-lose situation all around. Schools are funded incorrectly, that's the problem. I wish I had a solution.

Going out tonite; what to wear, eek. Always feel like the fashion police are going to swoop down and write me up. Take me away in handcuffs to Old Navy or somewhere and make me try on cargo pants in every colour. Force me to take a test on layering and colour combinations. Put me before the judge o' style, where I will be sentenced to remain indoors, out of sight from the 20-somethings with a clue. When I go out for an evening of fun, it shouldn't be stressful. Right?

Played volleyball. Now I am sore. Ugh. I over-extend, try to reach what is out of reach; a lot like my life right now. Sounds like a best-seller.

Bought some water pistols in the shape of a fish and an alligator. How goofy is that?
